The Auerbach-Warren home, part of a small cohousing neighborhood in Durham NC, is built with Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) block, reclaimed riverwood beams, and salvaged oak doors from Duke University. It is also passive solar, has solar hot water, and radiant floor heating. The wood fired bread oven and solar green house are shared amenities of the cohousing neighborhood.
